Cold Steel MAA Gothic Mace Cold Steel MAA Smoothen Mace It is possible that my Google-fu is just weak, just I oasis't been able to find whatsoever reviews for these products nevertheless. Does anyone have a review they can point me towards, or some personal experience with either/both of these weapons?

It'south well made and vicious looking...bout" all I tin say. I have a few questions. Accept you washed any test striking with it? How practical of a weapon does it seem to be? Will it hold upwardly nether combat atmospheric condition, or is information technology rather questionably synthetic similar all of the Windlass maces I've handled? Are the flanges welded together, or exercise they appear to be cast as (or machined from) a unmarried slice?

Cold Steel MAA Gothic Mace Cold Steel MAA Polish Mace It is possible that my Google-fu is just weak, but I haven't been able to discover any reviews for these products notwithstanding. Does anyone take a review they can betoken me towards, or some personal experience with either/both of these weapons? While technically not a mace (I call back) the CS sword breaker (older one beingness discontinued...but offered at clearance..., not the new two hand Segal i) certainly is a kissing cousin that employs percussive powers. I believe they merely named it incorrectly, as the idea of the SB was to knock (parry) an attackers weapon off line, dissentious it, while having a dagger in the off hand to deal damage or defend. Ii handed, its is a devastating weapon (as you can hands grab/half sword, anywhere on the blade), and the pointy tip is a new dimension for a percussive tool. They, alas, made information technology also nice (if there is such a thing) because the price point became much higher than it could have been for a functional item. I must say, however, the Rosewood handle and scabbard are beautiful and make it quite wall mountain worthy. If i wishes to view it every bit a glorified baseball game bat, and then fine...as it is probably the most cute (and constructive) ane handed percussion weapon always made (pretty bold statement for a "baseball bat", huh). Promise they make an economy version in the time to come, every bit this matter was non given a proper chance. Those MAA maces are intriguing, as they come at a nice price indicate, but are really made for bully stuff up close, so you'll need a shield or blocking weapon in the other paw, if you wish to use it for defense force.

| Post by howler on Jul 21, 2016 5:17:36 GMT And withal, oddly, he gives it Iii STARS? I apply Amazon mainly to cheque the everyman prices from diverse companies, then shop directly at that company if possible, or just to become a "lay of the land", pricewise. Usually the larger companies don't pawn off the garbage, every bit they take reps to protect, and their big size affords amend pricing and the taking intendance of issues/issues that crop up. Jeez, it'south hard to imagine CS not making sure these things are TANKS, and then it will be interesting if more people have issues, every bit it is still early in the offer. "Soft shaft" could simply be wedding night jitters ...so to speak, so nosotros shall see if the shaft gets/stays hard in the coming months. | |
| Post past Vincent Dolan on Jul 21, 2016 6:38:35 GMT Notwithstanding, the shaft bending seems similar more then but a random flaw.... Doesn't seem to be especially uncommon, though, at to the lowest degree on cheaper maces; Matt Easton bent the shaft on one of his maces ( this 1 ). He surmised that the walls of the shaft were too thin, which could be the effect with the Cold Steel version. It'due south too possible the reviewer simply got a lemon; it does happen, after all. So again, I'm interested in the Shine Mace, myself, so I'chiliad actually hoping information technology was just a lemon and not a potential effect on all their maces. | |

I have that mace (the ane Easton aptitude) ans I idea it was better than that. Withal, information technology IS Deepeeka, so what did I expect?

I don't similar the look of it. I take bug with welded flanges period, let alone ones which seem and then fragile as these.
| Mail service by tancred on Aug 9, 2016 iii:59:19 GMT Hey Legacyofthesword. I have this mace. Have had it for many years now. While I haven't gone out, and really crushed anything with it, I recollect its a pretty solid mace. There's an extremely tiny corporeality of shakiness between the head and the shaft, just no other issues. If annihilation, I wish this mace were slightly lighter. I have a very dissimilar spiked Hanwei mace, and that matter is as well light, imo. The Windlass mace far outweighs that model. | |
